This is Jordan's face he likes to make.  It's cross between a sniff and a fishy face:)

This year, we have so much to be thankful for!  The past 7 months, we have not taken our amazing family and friends for granted.  We have seen God's hand on us in NC in our jobs, our marriage, and helping us find a great church.

We also don't take each other for granted.  The times John is away in the field makes us realize how much we like to be around each other, and how fortunate others are to see their spouse every day.

On Wednesday last week, John told me on the way to Michigan that his deployment was approved for June.  It was hard for me to be thankful, but I realize that God needs Christians in Afghanistan too.  There's no doubt in my mind, God will keep His hand on John and bring him home safely.  Also, since he's going around mid-tour for the rest of his battalion, he'll (most likely) come home with them in January.

Love from NC
