Emily, Becky, Kayci, Kloe, me, Melanie
the classic hand-over-mouth cry (and there's me...haha)
he's one lucky king...(I'm one lucky queen!)
talking to mom at the commercials to hear her and dad's top picks...
getting a little carried away...
I decided to invite some girls over to watch the pageant with me. I made chili, funfetti cake, and Harry and David dip, and found some plastic tiaras at Wal Mart. I found ballots on TLC's website with headshots of all the girls and places to vote for your own top 15, 12, 10, 7, and new Miss America. It also had bonus questions to predict the total number of wardrobe malfunctions, red dresses, and "world peace mentions." John so graciously stuck around with us girls and of course, got the most predictions right!!! He was such a good sport (putting other guys to shame:).
I think this is the beginning of an annual tradition. I already have ideas for next year's party and whether you're a pageant girl or not, you can have fun and thank God it's not you in front of millions with a bikini and high heels!

It's fun to see your pictures and know a little about what's going on! It seems like the Lord has blessed you and John a lot. We always miss you, and wish you the best!

I didn't even know the pageant was on...dang it! The party sounds like it was a blast...wish I could have been there!
