35 weeks

I can't believe I am already almost 35 weeks.  Ready or not, here comes baby!  I am getting really excited to have baby outside my belly.  He/she's running out of room and starting to lodge his feet between my ribs.  Not only that, but baby must have a head full of curly hair because I am getting heartburn from just looking at food!  I've been told the last month is uncomfortable, so I tried to prepare for this.

Other than the recent insomnia, constant urge or necessity to pee, and a hard time getting comfortable during most of the day, I am feeling great. ;)

I've decided that my last day of school will be Friday, April 16th.  That will give me time, if baby doesn't come 2 weeks early, to get some things done around the house.  I'm looking forward to that time of rest and prep, but not counting on it since baby could really come anytime.  We're so anxious to hear if it's a boy or a girl!  I wanna shop!

Baby's nursery is coming along.  We have a lot of projects in the works right now.  We're still trying to figure out how to cut out wooden letters to paint and hang above the molding in the room.  I'm excited to start putting it all together next weekend.  I'll post more pics then, but for now I'll leave you with your imagination.  Here are some of our projects:

34 weeks

John painted uor dresser mossy print (green) and I shabby-chiced it.  The colors underneath were black and white.  I love how it turned out!  Now, we just need to find some cool pulls or knobs.  Thinking woodsy/branches of some sort.

yellow for a boy or a girl:)  colors: honeytone and creamy yellow; a guy John knows helped us hang the mullion/molding around the room

vintage window I found at a junk store for $5...I still need to put maternity pics in the empty panes and hang over dresser

The colors I'm going to paint the wooden letters and hang above the molding in the nursery:
blustery day (light blue)
belle of the ball (light light pink)
owl's  house (burnt red)
mossy print (green)

Starting to look like a babies room. I am so happy you didn't find out the sex. Have your hubby tell you the sex when he/she is born. I will never forget ROb's face and him telling me that It's a boy! He was so emotionally. If I could give you any advice it would be to sleep now and take peoples help. Everyone told me that and I ignored both. I didn't sleep and I should have taken help more. But, your a first time mom and you try to be super mom. Good luck. having a spring baby is the best.

You can buy the letters from Hobby Lobby unfinished and paint them yourself!! =) That is what I did for Noah's room.. then I nailed a hook on the back of each one and hung them up with ribbon!! Super cute!!
