Due Date + 5...

My induction is scheduled for Monday, as in 3 days from now. I've tried everything so please, no more suggestions on what worked for you! It just adds to the frustration.

Our doctor was very funny yesterday when he found out we were having a girl. As if it all made sense he said, "Ah, yes, of course it's a girl. Attention seeking behavior already..." I'm trying to stay positive and keep praying for a safe and healthy delivery, even if it's brought on by a horrible chemical they call "pitocin." Any prayers would be greatly appreciated for a natural induction, i.e. my water breaking or I would begin to contract. As of right now, my parents, John, Josiah and I have been staying busy with projects all over the house. Here's a few of them in the works. I can't wait to share the finished products! Thanks so much, Mom & Dad. You are both such a blessing!

Josiah and me sanding his new footboard

Baking cookies

Decorating the nursery

Many recent trips to Home Depot

I made this upcycled John Deere tee shirt hat for Josiah last night...perfect for spring!

Just another project on the circular saw

Grandpa's little helper...he loves his "Bapa!"

Man, I haven't checked your blog in awhile. cute stuff! :) You should be getting a package tomorrow from me. I think Brooke has been holding off on that this whole time. Sorry, it was all my fault. You'll go into labor tomorrow. I can feel it :)

Don't be discouraged if you do end up being induced. I was induced at 41 weeks with Madelyn and had a great experience with the pitocin! You're body is ready when your overdue and not always the case when the induction is sooner than the due date. Hope that gives you some happy thoughts! Won't be long!! I keep checking facebook because of you!
