In the Army, plans can change in an instant. So, the only thing to do is to live life as normal as you can, trying not to worry about what could happen. We are waiting for some big news that could potentially re-arrange our lives completely, and very very soon. John interviewed and got the job for a second command position, which would keep us here at Ft. Bragg for at least another year. However, he is having some {a lot} resistance from his branch manager who oversees all officers in his field because he is overdue to attend a 6 month course in Virginia, beginning the end of November. Now they must involve higher powers that be to "fight" for John to stay or go. If we stay, nothing changes for a year or so. If we go, we will be be packed and moving in less than 60 days. Wow...what more can I say?
We maintain a sense of peace knowing that home is where we are, as long as we're all together it'll be fine. We've also put it in the Lord's hands and believe that His plan is greater than ours.

Psalm 37:23 the Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

Thinking about you guys during this transition time. I hope you feel at peace with the decision--you're right, home IS with your family, wherever that may be.
