The Move

What a whirlwind of a week.  We have been in Virginia a week now and, in some ways, it feels like much longer!

We rolled into town last Tuesday and saw the house we were renting for the first time. It's in a beautiful neighborhood on a cul-de-sac with lots of other kids.  YAY! The house is beautiful and our landlords are great.  YAY! We met two of our neighbors the first day and have had a few play dates already.  YAY!

I wish it was a seamless transition, but we all had bad colds when we got here, which turned into the stomach flu for Josiah.  We are still battling it, but he's taking it like a champ. And, on the bright side, we have found a Pediatrics clinic we love.  YAY!

Our movers came Thursday morning and spent the day unloading 10,000 pounds of stuff all over the house.  That evening, my mother in law, along with John's Aunt Mom and Uncle Dad, came into town to help us settle in and unpack boxes.  We spent the next few days doing just that, and I can't thank them enough for all their help.  We will only be here 6 months, and it would've taken me that long to do it by myself.  Thank you so much, guys!  Big YAY!!

Glad you all made it safely and were able to unpack everything so quickly--awesome John's family could help! I hope VA treats you well these next 6 months :)
