O Christmas Tree

I wanted to post our first Christmas tree.  They have a program down here called "Trees for Troops" where they give out free, live Christmas trees.  John waited for over an hour for this tree, and although we are grateful, it is just that...a free tree.  I like it because it has character, but it was hard to hang anything on because the needles are so flimsy.  

Ah, well...here's to the first!

Also, I wanted to post these pictures of Chula.  We have a very quirky dog for many reasons.  This is just one of them: she likes to chew on our hangers and ends up with them around her body. The funny thing is, she walks around like normal, not phased by her wearing our hangers around her little body.  All we can do is sigh and wonder how strange life will be when we actually have a child!
