Josiah at 18 months
Well, here we are. We made it to 1 1/2 years old. There were a few overwhelming moments, but by God's grace, we have a sweet and handsome little man who has stolen our hearts. I can't imagine having another baby and he/she not being Josiah, but I'm sure we'll be captivated once more by little sister in February. I feel blessed beyond words to be his mommy and I look forward to the next year and a half. Love you, bugaboo.
Words he either says or tries to say...
"Baba" for ball and bubble
"Go"
"Tractor"
"Juta" for juice
"Maaay" for milk
"Dis" for this
"Mama" and my favorite, "Mommy"
"Dada"
"Tuta" for Chula
Circle
"Caca" for cracker and coffee
"Shoes"
"Bebe" for baby
"Sash" for squash
Animal sounds he can make...
Moo
Grrrr
Ribbit
Oink
He jibber jabbers all the time, so there are probably more of these.
He's a smart little bugger. He...
Knows these shapes every time:
Circle
Star
Triangle
Square
Heart
Knows his:
head,
eyes,
nose,
ears,
mouth,
belly button,
hands,
feet
can work my iPad all by himself, likes counting game and Elmo alphabet apps
Some of his favorite things are...
Hitting the ball off tee
Loves helping mommy and daddy
Talking on the cell phone
Kicking the soccer ball
Giving high fives and "pounds" it
Cimbing on everything, up and down steps
Watching the airplanes all the time by our house
"Driving" the truck
Playing with Chula (especially throwing and hiding her ball under the couch)
to pray, folding his hands and bowing his head. He's actually prayed at times when I've forgotten.
His favorite foods are...
any kind of meat, mostly hot dogs
toast and oatmeal for breakfast
bananas
most vegetables, especially peas
He is a pretty good eater but won't eat fruit except bananas. He signs for "more" and "all done."
